This website is operated by Fred's Ventures Ltd (company number 16891246), registered at 66 Lavender Hill, International House, London, England, SW11 5RQ, trading as FRED'S. When we refer to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy, we mean Fred's Ventures Ltd.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can contact us at fred@fredspt.com.
We collect personal data that you provide to us directly through our website forms, including:
When you book a consultation call, we also collect your preferred date and time.
When you subscribe to our training services, we collect payment information through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your card details on our servers.
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
Under UK GDPR, we process your data on the following legal bases: consent (when you submit a form, book a call, or share progress photographs), contractual necessity (to deliver training and coaching services you have subscribed to), legitimate interest (to improve our website and communicate with prospective clients), and explicit consent for special category data (health and medical information collected through our onboarding form, which you may withdraw at any time by contacting us).
Our client onboarding form collects health information including medical history, injuries, medication, and physical activity readiness. This data is classified as special category data under UK GDPR and is processed solely on the basis of your explicit consent for the purpose of designing a safe and effective training programme.
Progress photographs are entirely optional. If you choose to upload progress photos in the Fede app, they are stored securely on our behalf by Supabase, are visible only to you and your assigned trainer, and are used solely to track your training progress. Progress photos are not shared with any other third party, not used for marketing purposes, and not published in any format without your separate written consent. You can delete them in the app at any time, and they are deleted within 30 days of the end of your coaching relationship.
Our website analytics are our own. We do not use any third-party analytics service for them, and nothing in this section is shared with anyone.
We keep our own record of how this website is used: pages opened, how far you scrolled, what you clicked, the country the request came from, and which link or advertisement brought you here. It is stored in our own database. To recognise a returning visitor we store a random identifier in your browser. It is not a name, an email address or an account.
We use this to understand how people use the site so we can improve it.
We advertise on Google and Meta, and we need to know which of those advertisements bring people here. If you accept advertising cookies we use the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag. These place cookies on your device, let Google and Meta measure which advertisement led to an enquiry or a subscription, and allow them to show you our advertisements again elsewhere.
We also tell them about a sale from our own server: the click identifier their platform added to the address you arrived on, the value of the subscription, and a scrambled version of your email address that lets them match the sale to the click without us handing over your address itself.
None of this happens unless you accept advertising cookies. You are asked once, and you can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Declining changes nothing else about this website.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following third-party services, which are necessary to operate our business:
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States (for example Stripe, Supabase, Google, Anthropic, and Meta). Where your personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK GDPR, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, standard contractual clauses, or an adequacy decision where applicable, to protect it.
Our coaching clients use the Fede app on iOS and Android. Through the app we process the data needed to deliver your programme and track your progress, including the food and meals you log, your workout logs and the weights, reps and notes you record, your bodyweight and progress entries, your booked sessions, and the goals and targets set as part of your coaching. This data is stored on our behalf by Supabase, our database and authentication provider, and is visible only to you and to your assigned trainer.
On iPhone the app can connect to Apple Health, and on Android it can connect to Health Connect. With your permission, the app reads health and fitness data such as steps, active energy burned, bodyweight, sleep, heart rate, heart-rate variability, and your logged exercise, so it can show your trends and, where you have enabled sharing, make this available to your assigned trainer. On Android the app may also write your logged bodyweight and workouts back to Health Connect so your records stay in one place. You control this connection in the app and in your device's Apple Health or Health Connect settings, and you can turn it off or revoke access at any time. We use this data solely to provide and improve your coaching. We never use it for advertising or marketing, we never sell it, and we do not share it with any third party other than Supabase, which stores it securely on our behalf so that you and your trainer can see it. Our access to and use of Health Connect data complies with the Health Connect Permissions policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
The app includes an optional food assistant that uses artificial intelligence to suggest sensible food choices when you are eating out or away from your plan. When you ask it a question, we send your question together with your current goal and that day's nutrition targets and intake to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a response. Your conversations are stored privately so that you can re-read them, are visible only to you, and can be deleted by you at any time. The assistant's answers are AI-generated estimates intended to help you make sensible choices. They are not exact nutrition facts and are not medical, clinical or dietary advice. The assistant does not make any automated decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Our services and the Fede app are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services to you. If you enquire but do not become a client, we retain your data for up to 12 months to follow up on your enquiry. If you become a client, we retain your data for the duration of our working relationship and for up to 24 months afterwards for accounting and legal purposes. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at fred@fredspt.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
